SRHR policy research – achievements and challenges is a side event organised by the Academic Network for Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) Policy (ANSER) and will be held on 3 April 2019.

ANSER aims to become a global resource for SRHR policy research, education and service delivery. It has established an international platform for research on SRHR policy related topics; by developing a portfolio of education and training programmes on SRHR policy; and by fostering interaction between SRHR researchers and policy makers.

The goal of the ANSER side event, organised during Rīga Stradiņš University Science Week, is to share and discuss the examples of successful SRHR research projects and to define existing SRHR research priorities in Latvia and other countries. The interdisciplinary approach, uniting researchers with public health specialists, health professionals, social workers, lawyers, public relations specialists, non-governmental organisations and many others is essential in the further improvement of SRHR in Latvia, Europe and beyond.
